Is a Captain at Fire Station 3 on C-shift and has been on the Fire Department for 30 years. Nominated for saving a woman, along with his crew, from the 2nd story of townhomes in the 1800 block of East Grauwyler. Witnesses stated the crew fought heavy fire before entering the building and going upstairs to rescue the woman.

Is a Lieutenant at Fire Station 8 on B-shift and has been on the Fire Department for 24 years. Nominated for saving a 4 year old child from drowning at the Harvey Suites Hotel at 4550 W. John Carpenter Freeway while off-duty on 7/16/06.
